SeekhSutra (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and profile details you provide.
• Learning data: enrollments, enrollment and access periods, course progress, certificates, and in-app notifications (including reminders about when your course access is ending).
• Payment data: processed securely by Razorpay; we store only order metadata, never your card details.
• Usage data: device and analytics information, only if you accept optional cookies.

How we use your data

• To provide and personalise your learning experience.
• To process payments and grant course access for the applicable access period.
• To send in-app notifications, including reminders that your enrollment or course access is ending so you can complete the course or re-enroll.
• To send transactional emails and, with consent, product updates.
• To improve our platform through aggregated analytics.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us at support@seekhsutra.com or contact us on WhatsApp to exercise these rights.

Data sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the service — Supabase (hosting/database), Razorpay (payments), Bunny Stream and YouTube (video delivery), and Google (auth/analytics). When a lesson is delivered via an embedded YouTube player, YouTube/Google may set cookies and receive technical data as described in Google's own privacy policy. We never sell your data.

Data retention & security

We retain data while your account is active and as required by law. Data is encrypted in transit and protected with row-level security and access controls.
